Available for smartphones and tablets, in French and English, the app Cannes Sports is the ideal way to:
•Select and prepare your running or hiking route,
•Tracking your route and performance using geolocation,
•Meeting challenges and sharing your best times
•Practice the paddle through 4 courses
•Discover the swimrun on Sainte Marguerite Island and Palm Beach Point
•Watch live the state of the sea and weather conditions thanks to webcams and weather stations deployed along the coast

16 trails dedicated to running and hiking are spread out throughout the Cannes area. A colour code system rates the difficulty of each of the trails.
•4 easy green trails,
•5 intermediate blue trails,
•5 difficult red trails,
•2 very difficult black trails.

Once the app is installed, you can download maps for offline use or you can locate and orient yourself on the detailed maps using the GPS on your smartphone. It will alert you if you stray from your route.
Cannes Sports also suggests challenges, by timing yourself against bluetooth beacons installed along the route.
