INTRODUCTION

TTS-Text to Speech converter is an application used to convert text to speech .It is solely dedicated to the volunteers of the visually challenged students who find it difficult to spare time to dictate the notes to them.The text can be manually typed or scanned form a document,books,papers etc.

PROBLEMS FACED BY VISUALLY CHALLENGED STUDENTS

Visually challenged students find it difficult to plot the their notes in braille code from their text book.So they usually need volunteers to dictate their notes where simultaneously the visually challenged students plot the words in corresponding braille code.Many times the volunteers do not turn up because it is a very time consuming process,Because the need to dictate it very slowly so that it would be easy for the students to plot in corresponding braille code.

TTS App makes it possible for the user to type or scan the content which must be dictated and convert it to speech .TTS App has an added advantage of increasing or decreasing the speed & pitch of the speech which makes it comfortable and easy for the student to plot it in the corresponding braille code.Using TTS App,it reduces the time spent by the volunteer and helps the visually challenged students.

EXPORT OPTIONS PROVIDED BY TTS APP

TTS App has an option to convert the typed of scanned content as a PDF file which make the user to save it for future use.
