Twinkl Phonics Suite 9.8

Twinkl Phonics Suite has been designed by a team of lead teachers and senior practitioners with extensive experience and expertise in the teaching and delivery of phonics within both UK and International Schools.

Primarily designed to support the structure of the DFE ‘Letters & Sounds ’ Scheme, it can also be used to reinforce the teaching of other phonics schemes your child may be using at school..

The app is split into 5 different Phases, with each one covering a range of different activities which can be used to help your child to develop and enhance the core skills needed to become fluent readers and writers via the processes of blending (for reading) and segmenting (for spelling).

All in all, Twinkl Phonics Suite contains over 70 engaging and varying activities ranging from phoneme boards, where your child can practise spelling words phonetically, to games such as ‘Buried Treasure’ where they must determine whether words are real or nonsense.
