Before Egypt 1.0

The Before Egypt app displays 3D interactive models of ancient Egyptian artefacts from the Predynastic Period (7,000 to 5,100 years ago). The app accompanies the Predynastic collections of the Garstang museum at the University of Liverpool.

Use the app to reveal a 3D model of an artefact from a postcard. Five artefacts are available (version 1.0). Explore these objects interactively in 360° and learn more with the fully labelled features.

• Get up close: see these objects in greater detail than is possible with the naked eye.
• Learn: features of interest on the models are labelled with descriptions.
• Take home: keep these models for exploring at home with the friends and family.
