Radio Umudiho Wacu is an online radio of the Burundian community at home and abroad. Created in July 2010 and based in Canada, Radio Umudiho Wacu is an affirmation of our identity as Burundians. We believe that through music, every Burundian is reconnected to his or her roots. As the name implies, Umudiho wacu is concerned with bringing back the Burundian rhythm. The language used in the radio is Kirundi. However, since we believe that music is a universal language, we incorporate other amazing African songs in different languages such as Swahili, French and English. Currently, we broadcast 24/7 online.
