MINDS Social Skills - M4 1.0

Social skills equip students to thrive in the classroom and in the world beyond. Social incompetence can be more debilitating and detrimental to the quality of life of students than learning difficulties. With MINDS Social Skills App, learning these life skills can be simple and fun! This interactive and engaging educational app brings the Health Education and Social Competence subjects to life with its age-appropriate content and child-friendly user interface. Incorporated with motivational reward activities and Augmented Reality Application, learning takes place easily, effectively and safely.

Parents, teachers and/or professionals can use this app to complement the teaching and learning in school and beyond. After each learning experience, use strategies such as modeling and role-playing to further reinforce and generalize their learning.

Features:
• Customized videos in authentic social settings.
• Games and quizzes – a puzzle piece will be rewarded with each correct answer. To complete a puzzle, students will require 10 correct answers.
• Scores are given at the end of each module.

There is a total of 5 modules for this MINDS Social Skills app series. They are namely: ‘Greetings’, ‘Encouragement’, ‘Medical Examination’, ‘Boundaries- Feeling Safe’.

This app is designed for students to know what they should do when they are unwell and also what they might experience when they are at the clinic.
