In the divided culture of Kansas City's entertainment and night life in the late 40's, a distinguished group of black professionals led by Dr. E. Frank Ellis founded the Midwesterners Club of Greater Kansas City. The founding members were a Who's Who of black professionals representing medicine, law, science and other esteemed professions. The club has continued to grow and thrive and now includes members from all disciplines.
