The presence of keratoconus always hindered the calculation of refraction of the patient, either through of retinoscopy (skiascopy), or using the autorefractor. Thus, it is sometimes difficult find such values quickly and reliably.
The response provided by the patient is compromised by the interference of high order aberrations generated both by the irregular astigmatism as by changes in pupil diameter delaying the exam.
Faced with this, the "Helper Keratoconus" provides a quickly theoretical calculation from patient keratometry refraction, which is inserted into the refractor and refined.
With the application "Helper Keratoconus" the ophthalmologist can calculate the patient's keratoconus refraction (theoretical) in a simple and quickly way.
