This application is used primarily for the nutrition surveillance of young children starting from birth until they turn 60 months of age. It is meant to identify those children that are most in need of an intervention, by calculating a child's grade of malnutrition using WHO standards. Weight for age, Length/Height for Age, and Weight for Length/Height are all calculated. These calculations are done in real time when the user enters in the weight and height. Other data is also collected such as frequency of various illnesses, eating habits, breastfeeding information, and information regarding if the child has taken a deworming pill. The application facilitates the work of the health promoters by passing along useful information to the next weighing session visit. The application will alert the user if the child's weight or height has drastically changed, so that the user can confirm the measurements are correct. The application will also notify the user when the child is due for their deworming pill again, which is currently every 6 months once the child turns 2 years of age.
