Dr. Thomas Ritchie opened the doors of Best Friends Veterinary Hospital on March 1, 1983. Through the next 20 years, the Best Friends family continued to grow as the client base expanded. Dr. Ritchie and Dr. Riggs had to make the choice of remodeling the current rented building to create more space or build an entirely new facility. The decision was realized with a marvelous state-of-the-art 6,500 sq. ft. facility in Powell, Ohio. Our current veterinary staff includes four veterinarians and an array of extremely dedicated, knowledgeable assistants, technicians and receptionists.
