What is "Buchfreund"?
So far, it was a painstaking effort to find a rare book, sometimes it was unsuccessful. Buchfreund now offers antiquarians the opportunity to offer their rare works and collections on the Internet and leads interested customers directly to the bookseller. So it is no longer a problem to acquire antiquarian books, first editions or documents, such as historical narratives, old prints, handwritten writings and drawings.

How does it work?
Enter into the Buchfreund search engine e.g. the keyword, the title or the author, and your desired article from hundreds of second-hand book dealers, new book dealers and remittance dealers will be searched for. But not only books are to be found here, also graphics, magazines, postcards, autographs, photographs and sheet music.

How can I pay?
Most of our antiquarians offer shipping on open account or prepayment. Likewise many sellers support current payment systems such as PayPal, Stripe or Sofortüberweisung.
