MedtechVision 2017 1.0

This is the official mobile application for MedtechVision 2017, MedtechWomen's seventh annual conference focused on the Evolution of Medtech.

The medtech sector has been in flux in recent years. Corporate consolidation, pricing pressure, rising regulatory requirements and salesforce constraints have all played a role. Venture funding for medtech is out of favor, perhaps for good, leading some to conclude that “medtech is dead”. Simultaneously, new innovations and new entrants have emerged from the tech and retail sectors that may represent competition or opportunity for medtech to take advantage of data, connectivity and partnerships that will enable medtech to reinvent itself. The conference will approach this debate head on with examples of where traditional medtech is alive and well and where it has faltered alongside examples of where the new opportunities have been successful and where they have failed and why.
