Discover the structure and function of vertebrate (human) eye in the virtual reality 3D worlds! you will understand the basic anatomy of the eye, the way how we adapt to see the objects close to us and in an interactive simulation you learn how to correct vision with lenses (spectacles).
You "dive" into the retina and understand the tricky coding of the nerve cell activities there.
Finally you learn about the colour vision, the role of rods and cones and the biochemical mechanism of the light induced excitation in a rod, involving rhodopsin, retinal and other actors.
