This app provides the user with an interactive, hands-on experience with one of the latest acceleration techniques in Magnetic Resonance Imaging: Compressed Sensing.
It performs a high resolution MRI Compressed Sensing reconstruction with an acceleration factor of 5, and shows the user how the undersampling in k-space can be compensated by smart reconstruction using a priori knowledge, and how the chosen incoherent sampling pattern in k-space affects image quality.
An extensive help text explains in simple wording how Compressed Sensing works.
