This program tests your multiplication tables. It also demonstrates alternative methods of multiplying numbers. These can be carried out in the margin or on your fingers. In situations where a calculator is not available, these simple methods can solve the problem.

The Vedic method of using a base is extremely useful. Once you become used to the layout, it is quite simple to multiply many 2 digit numbers easily.

It is recommended that you study all the examples of each of the methods shown. Then, try making up sums of your own, check the answers using a calculator. When the methods are second nature to you, you will be prepared for any situation.
