The Takeover Code Help Notes and Index is designed to be read alongside the United Kingdom's City Code on Takeovers and Mergers, and to assist those involved in transactions governed by it.

It identifies and links to relevant City Code provisions by subject, notes Panel Statements, Consultations, Response and Practice Statements and other Panel materials where these provide guidance on the interpretation of the Rules of the City Code, and includes other useful information in the Help Notes section.
