TRUMPF's MobileControl app is an easy and flexible way to monitor and operate your machines, as it brings the standard operator console interface straight onto your iPad's touchscreen - giving you an alternative to the static control panel for overseeing and controlling your machine.
The advantage for machine operators is that they can keep an eye on the production process even during operations that do not take place directly in front of the control panel. The app allows operators to retrieve machine information or switch programs from various locations around the machine – say the clearing area. There is also the option of transmitting the production process live to the operator's iPad using a camera integrated in the machine.

There is no need to alter your network in any way to use the MobileControl app. All you require is a machine with a wireless operation point and MobileControl software along with an iPad on which the MobileControl app has been installed. The iPad lets you log in conveniently to your machine's secure wireless network. You can also access the control panels of other machines, provided they too are fitted with a wireless operation point.
