LabCalPlus 3.1

LabCalPlus is the iPad version of LabCalPro.

LabCalPlus features four main calculators:

- Molecular weight calculator for elements

The molecular weight calculator for elements (including isotopes) allows the determination of molecular weights of chemical formulas. Elements and optionally numerical suffixes can be entered. Enclosing marks are also supported. The corresponding molecular weight will be calculated and the elemental composition will be displayed. Additionally an isotopic pattern can be calculated.

- Molecular weight calculator for amino acids

The molecular weight calculator for amino acids allows the determination of molecular weights of amino acid sequences. Amino acid sequences can be generated and the corresponding average or monisotopic mass will be calculated. Also post-translational modifications can be added. An import of sequences from UNIPROT is supported. Also a peptide mass can be searched within a precursor protein.

- pH calculator for solutions of acids and bases

The pH calculator allows to calculate the pH value of acids or bases. Additionally pH calculations for solutions of acids and bases are possible. Furthermore a titration can be performed.


- Molarity calculator

This calculator allows to calculate molarities, dilutions of stock concentrations and conversions between mass and amount.
