VRN Ticket 5.5.1

It does not matter if you use the train, the tram or the bus. If you use the App 'VRN Ticket' you can now buy a ticket on your mobile, including all forms of transport within the “Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Neckar” (VRN). You buy your ticket and off you go - flexible and uncomplicated! Additional you get actual informations, when there are disruptions on the track.

How does it function?
• Buy your ticket directly by app
You can travel all over the “Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Neckar” using the new ticket (VRN) - single tickets, day tickets or a BahnCard-ticket. You pay by credit card (visa, master card, Amex), by bank transfer or PayPal.
• Season tickets:
If you would like to buy a seasonable ticket you should click "VRN Abo" and you can buy the Rhein-Neckar-Ticket, tickets for over 60 years old people, MAXX and SuperMAXX tickets and use it for driving instead of the plastic card (the digital ticket is necessary for checking in the train).
• Semester tickets
The purchase of a semester ticket is now easily possible via the menu item "Semester Tickets". Here you will receive your ticket immediately as a mobile ticket on your mobile. The ticket can be viewed at any time after purchase under "VRN ticket".
• Subscription pass:
You can use the subscription portal to add Rhein-Neckar-Ticket, Karte ab 60, MAXX and SuperMAXX subscriptions. When you travel, simply use the app instead of the plastic card (the digital ticket is accepted in ticket checks on the train). You can view your customer details in the subscription portal and change it if necessary. If you do not yet have a subscription, you can order one directly in the app. If you have a 1st class supplement and / or dog / bicycle subscription you can also add this to your subscription. You have a plastic card but are not sure and want to try the digital ticket first? Just enter the subscription data and try it 4 weeks and then decide. The subscription portal is being constantly expanded.
• Integrated information of the VRN timetable
The timetable information gives you information about connections and addresses in the “Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Neckar” (VRN). It is just as convenient as the German Railway (DB) navigator. You can store the information under 'favorites'.
• Check the next Trains at your Station
You can see an overview of all trains at your station and check for delays
• Map
The best orientation if you want to travel by bike or car from the station or simply want to display the city map for your location. You can choose the map view between Google Maps or Openstreetmap.
