Overview of UNCCD COP 14

The fourteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) will be held in India from 2nd-13th September 2019. India has willingly taken the leadership role this year, along with the participation of 196 countries to bring the change in current scenario of land degradation.The delegates arriving for the meeting will spend the time in reviewing & discussing the previously accumulated data and the progress made so far. Scientific and Administration updates will be put in front of the conference for auditing. The informed & highly learned delegates, from around the world, will map out the future path to achieve the status of Land Degradation Neutrality as mentioned in the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 15.3.
