BikeMapper.SK 2.3.6

MTB cycling routes for all mountain bike enthusiasts, who like cycling in Slovak mountains. It contains several dozens of routes in different mountains. In particular, Donovaly, Horehronie and Terchová regions are processed.

The application also includes many GPS, map and cycle functionality, all that biker needs.

Route description + GPS

The description of each route includes text, photos, GPS trackpoints, and so-called Points of Interest (food & drink...). GPS trackpoints and the Points of Interest will be displayed on the map.

Map

After installing the application, it's good to download one of the offered offline maps to gain independence from the internet. In addition, several other online maps are available. You can also use your own offline map. All maps can be zoomed. Very useful is the magnification function, to adjusts the font size for a small screen. Of course, it is possible to orient the map in the direction of travel.

Navigation

The application navigates the selected route, either default from the application, or imported, or created (see section Routing & Planning).

Tracking

The application records the route, that you have passed. In addition to GPS coordinates, the record contains both time and altitude information. You can add custom waypoints to the record, which can include name and photos.

Dashboard

If Tracking is turned on, it is possible to call up a dashboard with functions similar to a cycling computer:
- total time
- distance traveled
- ascending height meters
- height above sea level
- maximum altitude
- instant, maximum and average speeds

Routing & Planning

Seeks a way from point A to point B with Road - Bicycle - Hiking options. The path is calculated on OpenStreetMap or MapQuest servers and the result is not always perfect. You can also draw or edit your own route.

Objects

The application downloads various types of objects, that are interesting for the cyclists (accommodation and restaurant facilities, water springs, cultural and historical objects...). Optionally, objects appear on the map.

Social Networks

The application is able to access social networks and share their own routes or routes in this app.
