iVe Mobile is a vehicle system forensics tool that enhances the overall usability of iVe while in the field. It gives forensic examiners and investigators the ability to quickly look up supported vehicles and view vehicle features and specifications.


Users can use the built in VIN scanner to decode the year, make, model and trim or enter in those pieces of data themselves to get information on a vehicle. This includes step-by-step instructions for locating and identifying supported infotainment and telematics systems as well as instructions for accessing the systems. All guides include detailed instructions, appropriate help links, and photos for reference.

iVe Mobile also gives users the opportunity to connect to iVe Desktop through a service called iVe Connect. iVe Connect is the link between the mobile and desktop versions of iVe. Through iVe Connect, iVe Mobile offers the ability to monitor the status of an acquisition being performed with iVe Desktop. Upon completion, iVe Mobile will display an overview of the data acquired – i.e. the number of call logs, text messages, etc.

An iVe Connect account is required to access the iVe Mobile App. iVe Connect accounts are created using iVe Desktop v1.8.0 and higher. Trial user accounts can be created by emailing the Berla support team.
