The new canon law : a commentary and summary 1.21

Father Stanislaus Woywod, was a recognized author in his time, contributing articles to the journal, Ecclesiastical Review. In 1918 he provided the public with a summary and commentary of the whole Code. The book was published mainly with a view to the needs of the clergy engaged in the care of souls at the time, and as such was kept as compact as possible. And although the Canon Code has gone through a number of revisions since this work was published the majority of the law is the same.

In general Fr. Woywod classic, is a well organized, and well written book that provides a fascinating look at the rules governing the Roman Catholic Church.
