Bahadur Shah Zafar was the Last Mughal emperor. He was the second son and became the successor to his father, Akbar II, upon his death on 28 September 1837. Location of the grave of the last Mughal, Bahadur Shah Zafar (or Mirza Abu Zafar Sirajuddin Muhammad Bahadur Shah Zafar) at Rangoon in Burma is in dispute. He was buried at the back of his enclosure, but by 1903 the location of his grave was forgotten.
